Synopsis: |
|
After losing their mother, Alphonse and Edward Elric attempt to bring her back using the forbidden science of human alchemy. However, alchemy operates on the theory of equivalent trade, and breaking the human alchemy taboo carries a heavy price. Ed loses his leg, and Al loses his body. Ed is able to seal Al’s soul inside of a huge suit of armor, at the cost of his arm. Years later, Ed (now with two mechanical limbs) and Al (still trapped in the armor) leave their childhood home, each brother concerned with the other’s happiness. Ed, who has a natural talent and skill for alchemy, becomes nationally certified and is soon known everywhere as the “Fullmetal Alchemist.†Their true objective is to search for any information on the fabled Philosopher’s Stone, hoping it will allow them to regain their old bodies. All of their hopes rest with this mythical stone, which may not even exist at all. However, the brothers soon learn that they are not the only ones after the powerful stone.

FULL METAL ALCHEMIST-->One of my favorite.
STORY:
The story is based on the concept of alchemy a medieval science.Edward and Alphonse Elric are two alchemist brothers searching for the legendary Philosopher's Stone, a powerful object which would allow them to recover their bodies (which were lost in an attempt to bring their mother back to life through alchemy).Throughout their journey, they meet many antagonists, including those who are willing to do anything to obtain the Philosopher's Stone; Scar, one of the few surviving Ishbalans, who seeks vengeance on the State Alchemists for the destruction of his race; and the homunculi, a group of human-like creatures who carry pieces of the Philosopher's Stone inside themselves, and from it derive the ability to survive almost any harm.
ANIMATION:
The animation is quite good considering the airing time of the anime and the graphic effects are really good.
SOUND:
This is also suits the animation and the plot and the theme songs are not bad .
CHARACTERS & ENCODE:
Each character is designed in its own unique way and they are really go hand in hand with the plot progression.
Encoding is good.
ENJOYMENT & CONCLUSION:
This is a great anime with best plot and is such a good enjoyment really.
Guys you got to watch this anime.

Firstly, I became interested in this series only after hearing that Squeanix was involved, and, while I haven't touched any of the Final Fantasy-based series (since what I've heard of them isn't too attractive), this gives me some hope that they can spawn some decent shows, rather than just games.
Visually, this show looks relatively good, though I'm not a big fan of characters becoming deformed, even if it's for comedic purposes (and that's just because I'm a spoilsport). I never noticed the animation being choppy, inconsistent, or anything of that sort, but it wasn't quite as impressive as some of the other shows I've seen as of late (and some were a slight bit older, so that's really not in this show's favor). The character designs are excellent, with even uniformed characters within the military seeming distinct (Major Armstrong humorously standing out more so than the others), and the lead characters(Alphonse and Edward Elric) have interesting designs as well. In particular, I note Alphonse, the younger brother, who is encased in a hulking suit of armor.
Storywise, this series is very good as well, and, while the series still has a substantial portion remaining, it is likely to wrap up nicely and be at the end of an entertaining ride. The series hasn't had TOO much filler, but the flashbacks have been annoying.
I look forward to seeing this series when it is released sometime this year (hopefully it will have been prepared competently), and recommend that anyone looking for a predominantly fun series look further into Full Metal Alchemist as soon as it is available stateside (which should be done later this year, and again, hopefully it will be a competent job).

An anime which once you saw then will not be able to get it out of your Head. It will haunt you

It is one of those anime which you once started watching then will be probably not getting up from you computer. It is one of the most amzaing anime i have seen.
Story:
The story is just awesome and will not disappoint you in the least bit. It revolves around the two brother's Edward Elric and Alfons Elric in this anime they are called the Elric brothers. There are in quest to find a Philosopher stone which have amazing powers to bring back there bodies to normal shape with the help of this stone. During this quest they go through amazing adventures encountering many enemies.so i have given it 10 for that.
Animation:
The animation of this anime was really good and the environment and the people were really put good together n i could,t find any flaws in them but it could have been better. so it get 8/10
Sound:
The sound and music were amazing too no problem in what so ever understanding the conversation of the people or the blast and other things in the anime they were crystal clear and the music was amazing as well.
Character:
The characters were very nicely put together specially the two man character's Edward and Alfons Elric were just awesome they couldn't have done a better job so i m gonna give them 10/10
Enjoyment:
Well take my words for it you are gonna enjoy it thoroughly it will not disappoint in a least bit. The story is so beautifully put and progresses so amazingly that you would enjoy each n every second of it. So since i enjoyed it so much then i had to give it 10/10

Sorry don't know about this encode I have seen it a while back so don't know how it would have been.
Since the Anime was just awesome so I will give it a 9/10

Favourite Anime

This has got to be my favourite anime ever (after great teacher onizuko & Ranma). When I first discovered it a year or so ago, I was glued to my screen, I watched every episode back to back and the movie straight away. This is an excellent anime, it starts off light hearted but as you get deeper into it, the episodes begin to get more serious & emotional. I have watched the whole series + the movie at least 3 times (thats how much I love it!!!!) and own the complete works on dvds.

Ultimate Review of Awesomeness

I was rather surprised by this and oddly was quite sad that I didn't choose to watch this MUCH earlier. After only finishing half of it recently, I was glued to my seat and really enjoyed every moment I had watching FMA. It lived up to its high reviews and expectations, it truly is a 'great'.

Storyline:
At first I was reluctant but the storyline actually progresses at a very smooth level. The transition between ordeals arcs aren't just 'forced' in order to leave a cliffhanger. The story is well thought out and the idea of being a 'alchemist' for various reasons is a pretty good concept. Especially in Alphonse and Edwards' case to becoming a alchemist.
The story is very touching and right from the start, it enticed me to continue watching to see if they ever will be able to fix what they have broken. I really felt something for FMA and it is actually sitting near the top of my idea of the best animes I have ever watched.
Sound/Animation:
As I said, I only just recently watched it and FMA is quite old(2003). The animation is still very fluid and is rather well done but not the best.
Sound was actually pretty decent. Good use of music and sound effects brought FMA a very good 'feel' and the viewers appreciate this.
Characters:
The various characters are so-so. Apart from Alphonse and Edward, I didn't really pay attention to anyone else as none were really 'memorable' or distinct in their own way. But still enjoyed watching it all.
Enjoyment:
10/10
Loved it and found it as an exciting anime. REALLY enjoyed it. Only problem I had was while surfing the web, i accidently stumbled across the ending of FMA and it kinda ruined it for me as I still haven't finished watching it. Eventually I will but yea... i hate finding out the end of animes... :(***
