Synopsis: |
|

Vash the Stampede is a gunman on the run with a 60 billion double dollar bounty on his head which has made it difficult for him to go anywhere without being chased and shot at. Every town he ever visits ends up being destroyed because of his pursuers, but miraculously no one ever gets killed. Meryl and Milly are two insurance agents that have been sent to find Vash the Stampede and keep him under surveillance so no more damage is caused. Meryl, who leads the pair, refuses to believe that the man they have met can possibly be the legendary gunman. This spikey haired, gangly, young man is extremely friendly, a pacifist, hates blood and suicide, absolutely loves donuts, and is a dork and a crybaby (far from a notorious outlaw). But there is more to Vash and his past than meets the eye.

Trigun is FUN. It's a mad rollercoaster of action, comedy, science fiction and even a little romance all packed into twenty-six episodes of pure anime goodness. I'd even go so far to say that Trigun is more fun than three barrels of monkeys armed with nerf guns and whiffle bats! (But that's just me ...)
This is anime at its very best, folks. Not many commercial titles I have viewed in the last year can even come close. Oh, and did I mention that the English dub is also very well done? Rejoice! (Disclaimer: I am a hard core subtitles fan,It is one of few best dubbed anime )
Even if action series aren't your cup of tea, I highly recommend Trigun because it has so much else to offer. Great characters, a strong story, and excellent use of humor and drama make Trigun a must-see.
Encode is like the large avi files. Very well made encode........

Trigun review

At times this anime can seem like most of the episodes are fillers but from episode 17 the story plot starts to unfold. I've watched this in Japanese and English dub and i think that the voice actors are better in english dub. Johnny Yong Bosch makes love and peace just sound better. the action in this doesn't flow very well but it were animated better i think the fight scenes could be really good. Because the anime is quite old the film looks old and that means IF the encode isn't very good (i'm not saying it isn't) it can still look good quality!

VGPD did a really good job with the encode of this, I have it in AVI and even the HQ of it doesn't come close to this dual audio encode, plus the size is great.
This series is an action series, that seems to be a hit or miss with some people. Some of my friends say this is their favorite anime, hands down - others hate it. I personally like it, and would recommend at least watching an episode or two. The theme song is really catchy too...
Basically the series is about a wandering, do-gooder, gunman named Vash the Stampede. No matter where Vash goes trouble seems to follow him and destroy everything and everyone he is involved with. The fight scenes in this movie are pretty cool if you enjoy gun fighting, which is kind of rare in anime as a whole. The sound is good too, and considering the time at which this anime was produced (1990's), the animation is very well done. The voice acting is good too, though a little over the top at times...
Now onto what I don't like about this series... At some points it can get a little boring. Don't watch it if you're sleepy, you'll probably pass out like I do at the boring points, and end up having to watch the entire episode all over again. The character buildup is also weak, and confusing. Without giving the story away, you don't find out about Vash's past until the very last episode, and even then you don't find out much, not much at all. I was left asking questions while the final credits rolled, there was too much left unanswered and unresolved.
Also, to drive a few more nails, the final episode basically sucked IMHO. It seemed like the creators either ran out of time or budget, or both, while finishing this anime. It just seemed so rushed, and so mashed together. There were so many other things they could have done to wrap the series up. It's always kind of disappointing to watch 25 episodes only to feel like you got gyped on the last one... all in all it was a good series worth watching, just wish the ending was more concrete.
One last thing, since this is something I always comment on. There are no attractive main female characters in this series. From time to time you'll see a few good looking ones, but they are one-timers and you don't see them from episode to episode. While this may seem like a small thing, it becomes extremely important when you get to the boring points and basically, the only thing you have to distract you from the anime sucking is good looking female characters... just something that I always look for.
Anyways download a few and watch them, you'll either like them or you won't.
;) THANKS VGPD
