A hidden military organization mobilizes crack troops to secretly protect a young Japanese girl in the most dangerous battleground of all: High School. Their operative: a battle hardened veteran named Sagara Sousuke. Can he adapt to this new battlefield, and to the opposite gender? Will he stop bringing firearms on campus?
STORY:
The story revolves around the mercenary group Mithril, their mobile base/submarine, called the TDD-1 Tuatha De Danaan, giant humanoid powered suits called Arm Slaves, and the various missions to which Sousuke Sagara is assigned. A highlight of the series is a serious and semi-realistic view of humanoid robotic weapons on the battlefield.
ANIMATION:
The animation is explicitly good and the arm slaves are portrayed well.
SOUND:
well you cant expect anything great out of this section and it was ordinary.
CHARACTERS & ENCODE:
Each character is designed in its own unique way to go hand in hand to the comedic plot.
Encoding is very good.
ENJOYMENT & CONCLUSION:
This will be a good enjoyment to watch it for the first time although the comedy wont be dominating this is one of the good anime I have ever watched.
This is one of the first animes that i ever watched and was the main reason i got addicted to the world of anime! This anime begins a comedy/romance when a soldier joins a school but behind the sences of the school there is a more serious side, the serious side is the soldier hunting down the bad guy which at times can be slow paced and seems a bit off subject. The downside is that they have tried to fit too many genres (Comedy, Romance, Action, Mecha, Military and school life) into the one show. This is the first season, the second season (the second raid) is what hooked me to anime but you'll have to watch this before that.
