Synopsis: |

On the dark path of swordsmanship in a "Futuristic" yet Feudal Japan, it is said that the one who becomes No.1 will rule the world. But the only rule in this world is that only the No. 2 is allowed to fight the No. 1. the story wasn't really great.....bt it still worked for me.....i loved the fighting scene the blood effect was awesome.....sound was great too.....its really short they could have expanded the story a little bit.....
so if u got some time in hand then watch it u will like it :)

Nice fights!

It's story is not that much good, but it's fighting scenes and Afro's swordsmanship are for sure interesting. If you're going to watch it for it's story, it can be really boring at some points, but if you want action and fights, this series sure is great.
I personally didn't like its theme songs, maybe they are good, but they were not to my taste.
Afro looks very brutal but at some points he appears with a very kind heart and his pal look like some funnily lazy guy. In short, it's good watching for fighting scenes.

Afro samurai
the story of Afro samurai revolve around the black samurai who is known only is Afro samurai,Afro set out to avenge the death of his father by a mysterious figure know as number 2,Afro father was number one and after the defeat number two took the title of number one.
Afro set out to reclaim his father honor and title.
along the way he meet up with strange characters,fight very intense fights,looking back at his sad childhood and pounder about the world he live in.
the show might seem to short 5 episodes to some people,but in fact the creators mange to pack a good story with a good sense of progress in a short amount of episodes.
the music of Afro samurai has a lot of of hip hop and rap influence in it,and the Wu tan clan raza made the sound track.
the animation is top notch,starting with the cool smoke trails,big clouds of sparks,very impressive fights who flows very smoothly.
the anime has crisp lines,and it has a few gory moments in it.
if you love good action and summaries this is definitely an anime to recommend watching.
